Beautiful, quaint, quiet, and clean. Simply put. The staff was courteous, and professional. I enjoyed the cook to order breakfast , and the whole pool area and bar during the afternoon and evening. The location is right off Duval. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Key West

It’s rare to come home from a week long vacation stay and say I. Would. Not. Change. A. Thing. The Gardens exceeded all of our expectations. We reserved Poolside Cottages 1 and 2, which, when connected, ended up being a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite that has a shared common area with a sitting area and kitchenette, plus two outside porch areas. It was perfect for two couples. Those two units share a smaller second pool onsite with only 2-3 other units in our own little gated “community.” Very private pool and living experience. The grounds, the service, the employees, the breakfast, the location, just everything….was perfection. Thanks to the owner and all the staff. We will be back!

We loved to whole vibe and location of the hotel. It’s so beautiful. Rooms could be updated a little. The staff was absolutely lovely! Especially the lady who served us breakfast and tended the bar on Monday and Tuesday!

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town! The perfect spot for an elegant, relaxing, and fun stay while experiencing the best of Key West. Be sure to spend time in the lush gardens with a delicious cocktail in hand, enjoying the live music before heading out to dinner. A truly special place we can’t wait to return to!

A “hidden” gem in Key West! This place is such a great find! The best part is in thr name — the garden. It’s lush and tropical, with secret little hideaways for quiet moments and plenty of nooks if you just want to relax in peace. The pool area is beautiful too, surrounded by greenery and a great spot to meet other guests. And with the bar nearby, a strong rum punch is always within reach! I’m giving it 4 stars only because our server at breakfast on the first day wasn’t very friendly — not even a smile. Since it was our first visit to Key West, a warmer welcome would’ve made a big difference. Otherwise, everything else was lovely!

We are here now. It’s our 4th or 5th stay… we try to come annually because we love it so much. We prefer a more relaxed and laidback vacation. We often spend a day or two just at the pool. It is so quiet and relaxing. We love the location, nightly entertainment, and quieter environment…. Never disappoints!

Great hotel in the heart of Key West. We stayed in the historic main house, Room 2, which was perfect for us. We had a balcony with direct room access. The location is a block from Duval Street and is quiet. The hotel provides live music between 5-7pm daily. The breakfast is delicious and should not be missed. Easy walk to just about everything. They have parking spaces which is plus in KW.

My husband and I just returned from spending a month at the Gardens. It was our 10th visit. Over the years, we have extended our stay from one week to two weeks and now to a month since we are both retired. The property is exquisite, the accommodations lovely and the staff terrific. The location is beyond fabulous and centrally located. Everything you want to see in old town is within easy walking distance so no car is needed. Walk to your favorite restaurant’s and no need to worry if you have an extra drink. There is complementary breakfast daily, entertainment nightly, a self-serve wine bar, and a bar poolside. We highly recommend and already have reservations for next year!

We had a wonderful time at the Gardens Hotel! The grounds were even more beautiful than the pictures and our tree top room was even better than pictured. We especially liked the African Tortoises, the gazebo, wine room & the Pianist! Having complementary breakfast & coffee was perfect as well! We will be back.

This was one of the most incredible places I have ever stayed! (and I have traveled the world and stayed at some very expensive places) This place is Secret Garden meets Grand Budapest Hotel. Imagine strolling a lush tropical garden complete with Tortoises, Aviary, Koi Ponds, meditation area, and hammock flanked by a meandering brick path that peaks the imagination. Now look for your room amidst the gardens - a comfortable King size bed with clean hardwood floors, a reading nook, furniture you expect to find at the Ritz, and a large bathroom with a rain shower. And all this is graced by a porch with comfortable chairs to relax and unwind. You are pampered with everything from good coffee, a hearty breakfast, inviting pool, great drinks (ask for Phil to make you the best Pina colada you will ever have), a Sommelier, music from 5-7, and a personal concierge (Thank you Jude). Despite being within a 2 minute walk to Duval, this place is QUIET! My daughter and I Loved our visit to Key West, but I am left with a lingering doubt that it would not have held such magic without our stay at The Gardens. I post this review knowing I am probably guaranteeing I will never be able to get a room here again because you would be a fool to stay anywhere else - but some things are just too good to keep to yourself.
